EURORAI Management Committee meeting in Sarajevo

Most important decisions adopted at the EURORAI Management Committee meeting held on 4 November 2021 in Sarajevo

At its last meeting, held on November 4th 2021 in Sarajevo, the EURORAI Management Committee decided to resume from the year 2022 on the call for payment of the yearly membership fee, which had been suspended for pandemic reasons over the past 2 years.

The following subjects were also discussed at the meeting:

a) The completely redesigned EURORAI website, which has been further expanded;

b) The preliminaries concerning the activities planned for 2022:

– The seminar on the theme “Public sector audit in times of digital changes – the mastering of external and internal challenges”, which was initially scheduled to take place in May 2020, then postponed to May 2021, and will finally be held on 20 May 2022 in Frankfurt/Main.

– The 11th EURORAI Congress including the General Assembly of Members, which will  take place on 20 and 21 October 2022 in Palma de Mallorca in the Balearic Islands.

c) The decision of whether or not to set up a working group on the measures implemented by EURORAI member institutions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic; and

d) The further cooperation with the EUROSAI Task Force on Municipality Audit.

Other matters dealt with at the meeting included the changes in the composition of the Management Committee, where a new member and alternate member has been appointed in what concerns the member country Germany as well as new alternate members for the member countries France and Spain.

The next committee meeting will take place on May 19th 2022 in Frankfurt/Main on the eve of the next EURORAI seminar.
