Most important decisions adopted at the EURORAI Management Committee meeting held on 24 April 2025 in Oviedo
At its meeting held on 24 April 2025 in Oviedo, the Management Committee of EURORAI approved the Annual Accounts for 2024 submitted by the General Secretariat and discussed the current financial situation of the Association and the outstanding membership fees.
The Management Committee also continued to prepare the 12th EURORAI Congress including the General Assembly of Members, which will take place from 1 to 4 October this year in Geneva. In this context, the General Secretariat will call on member institutions soon so that they submit proposals of activities for the 2026-2028 working programme, along with the corresponding commitment to carry them out, if adopted.
The following issues were discussed at the meeting as well:
- The updating of the fact sheets of member institutions, information which can be found on the EURORAI website;
- The decision to survey EURORAI member institutions on their experience in carrying out peer reviews; and
- The continued cooperation with the EUROSAI Working Group on Municipality Audit.
The next meeting of the Management Committee will be held on 1 October of this year in Geneva on the eve of the 12th EURORAI Congress.
