Most important decisions adopted at the EURORAI Management Committee meeting held on 23 May 2024 in Graz

At its meeting held on 23 May 2024 in Graz, the Management Committee of EURORAI approved the joining of the Office of the Tynwald Auditor General (Isle of Man) as associate member. 

The Management Committee also took note of the withdrawal from EURORAI of two member institutions, namely the Court of Audit of Rotterdam and the Regional Chamber of Audit in Kraków.

Moreover, the Management Committee approved also the annual accounts for 2023 submitted by the General Secretariat and discussed the current financial situation of the Association and the outstanding membership fees.

The following issues were discussed at the meeting as well:

a) The preparations with respect to the activities planned for 2024 and 2025:

The seminar devoted to public sector audit in times of tight budgets and securing the corresponding scope of action, event which will be held on 1 October 2024 in Brussels at the Representation of the Federate State of Hesse to the European Union.

The seminar on the theme “The analysis of the effectiveness, efficiency and economy of public policies by regional public sector audit institutions”, which will take place during the first semester of 2025 in Asturias on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Audit Office of the Principality of Asturias.

– The 12th EURORAI Congress including the General Assembly of Members, which will  be held in Geneva in October 2025.

b) The continued cooperation with the EUROSAI Task Force on Municipality Audit.

The next meeting of the Management Committee will be held in Brussels on 30 September of this year.
