Latest news! EURORAI Management Committee meeting held in Dresden

At its meeting held on 16 April 2026 in Dresden, the Management Committee of EURORAI examined the results of the survey submitted to it by the General Secretariat regarding the experiences of EURORAI member institutions with peer reviews and decided to set up a working group on this topic.

The Management Committee also continued to prepare the other activities planned for 2026. Among the topics discussed was the seminar on “Public Sector Audit and Artificial Intelligence”, which is due to take place on 16 October in Ponta Delgada in the Azores.

The following issues were discussed at the meeting as well:

- The updating of the fact sheets of member institutions, information which can be found on the EURORAI website;

- The establishment of further working groups; and

- The continued cooperation with the EUROSAI Working Group on Municipality Audit.

Finally, the committee members also dealt with issues internal to the Association such as the current financial situation and the outstanding membership fees.

The next meeting of the Management Committee will be held on 15 October of this year in Ponta Delgada.
