Participation of a EURORAI delegation in the I International Congress of Brazilian Courts of Audit in Foz do Iguaçu

At the invitation of the Brazilian member institutions in EURORAI, a EURORAI delegation made up of the new President, Friedrich Pammer, the former President, Dominique Roguez, and the Head of the General Secretariat, Edgar Thinnes, took part in the I International Congress of Brazilian Courts of Audit, which was held from 11 until 14 November 2019 in Foz do Iguaçu.
The Congress was devoted to the theme “The court of audit in the world today and public policies“, and the event was organised, among others, by the Association of Members of Brazilian Courts of Audit, the Rui Barbosa Institute (which is responsible for the initial and the continuing vocational training of the personnel of courts of audit in Brazil) and the Court of Audit of Paraná.
Within the framework of the event were also held meetings of the Conference of Presidents of Brazilian Courts of Audit (Conselho Nacional de Presidentes dos Tribunais de Contas, CNPTC) and the Association of the Official Public Sector Audit and Control Entities of the South American Common Market (Asociación de Entidades Oficiales del Control Público del Mercado Común del Sur, ASUR), meetings which the members of the EURORAI delegation were able to attend as observers.
